34 MORE DAY!!

So I'm Not Sure who reads these things. But I just like to type.

Well here I am 34 days away from my trip. And I feel like I havent gotten ANYTHING ready. Though I feel like I dont have much to get ready. I am sure one week before I leave I will suddenly realize I have too much to do and too little time.

I have gotten some amazing donations in the past week. Enough to keep me in Africa for well over a week if He decides to keep me their that long.

A lot of people are asking me how long I will stay there and the only answer I can give them is "I have no clue." The place I have lined up to stay is $400 US a month. I will be there for a least 3 months, Maybe more. The best part about this trip is that I dont have anything holding me to one place. If I see God calling me to hitch hike to Kenya, I will. If I hear God calling me to move into an orphanage with no clean water or electricity, I will. If I feel God calling me to run through the streets naked.... I will. (he calls us to some weird stuff sometimes). All this to say that I have no clue what this trip will hold. Thats why its so exciting.

Life for us has become to steady. To planned. To organized. Where is all the adventure. The WAY of Christ calls us to be different. Are we?

The one thing that I am trying to figure out now is the best way to keep track of my money over there. Any ideas?

I will have internet access for the most part. So I can pay bills using my online banking.

Its been a while since I updated this blog. I will update it more when the trip gets closer. WOW. Busy Day

So today was CRAZY busy. I checked plane flights on Monday and I found one for about $1200. I wasn't sure exactly when I was leaving and coming back so I didn't book it. So I go to Vegas on Tuesday (FREE TRIP!!!) and get back on Thursday. I get to a computer on Friday and try to search for my ticket.... $1800!!!!!!!!!!! so after being on the computer for about 6 hours today i FINALLY found a ticket for $1370. That's the closest I can get. SO I BOUGHT THE TICKET!!! Man its crazy.

I booked it for leaving LAX June 1st and returning home in October. I will most likely change the return flight. I just needed a guesstimation date for returning. Cheaper that way. So its set in stone.

Sup Fam,

So this is the start of a new chapter in my life. I am starting this Blog mostly to keep everyone up to date on my Swaziland trip. But it will go beyond that.

I am going to update this as much as possible. Bringing you everything from the good to the bad in the Life Of Cory Way. I figure this life is preparing me for my Life After Death. Sign up as a follower and I'm sure they will email you when I add another post or something.
