Joe Burg!!!

Hey everyone. Cory Here. Reporting from Johannesburg. I landed here after a 11 hour flight from London.

Just bought a coffee... 2 Bucks.... Way better than London. The flight seemed a lot longer than my first flight. I finished my Book "This Side Of Heaven" and when I was going through security one of the African workers saw it and asked me about it. So I said "You want it?" and he got very excited and said he would pray for me. I love nice people like him. I also met a girl from Australia. Evie. Pronounced E.V. It was totally a God thing cause she is going to work at an orphanage in Uganda for 3 months and she has an 8 hour lay over here and I have a 6 hour one. She is very brave coming from home and planning on spending 8 hours alone. In an African air port. She is next to me trying to have a conversation and I'm ignoring her so I can type this to you. That's how committed I am to this Blog thing.

It sux that I am a 5 hour drive from Manzini but I have to wait 6 hours for a flight to take me there. I might just Hitch Hike.

So I don't want to take to much of my Laptop Battery cause I cant charge it till I get to Swaziland. Oh yeah new Info!!! I might to go Kenya for a weekend while the CTK group is there!!!! I have to figure out details but I'll let you know if its Finale.

I Love you all and miss you all.

"You Sound Like Your From LONDON!!!!"

Ok So I just landed in London and it seems I cant find free internet. I bought some online minutes at LAX and they were supposed to work here but I got no luck so far. SOOOO I am typing them out in Word and then I will paste them when I get internet again since the interenet wasn’t workin I decided to get some lunch or breakfast.. or dinner. I have no clue what time it is. So I went and got a Ceaser Salad and a Mocha….Yeah a Mocha. It was gross. But the salad was good. I went to pay my bill…… $25!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy crap!!! If you ever visit london be sure to pack a lunch. So anyways the flight here went by very fast. I slept some, read some, and watched TV some. My watch says 9:49 AM. That’s Cali Time. I think hear it is like….17:49. Do the math. So far people are pretty nice. From here I fly to Johanesburg then have another 6 hour lay over. THEN my final flight to Manzini Swaziland. For now I gotta go find gate 50. Keep prayin I’m halfway there.

See Ya Later U.S.

Sup My People!?!?

hmmm... Well first off even writing the
title to this post makes my stomach hurt. I have so many people who love me in Fallbrook. I've always known it but this past week I have come in contact with so many people who would do almost ANYTHING for me. I am sure I look like a fool gettin teary eyed in the airport.

So back to my trip. Here I am in LAX. Its about 730 and the flight boards in about 30 minutes. I want to thank all of you so much for joining me in this Journey. I had a concert last night and raised about $800!! You are all amazing! Just the fact that you would give up a Sunday night to come hear me sing blows my mind. My mom and Leslie drove me down here today. We left CTK at 2:45... Supposed to leave at 2:00 But we didnt. Were "Way's" remember. But nonetheless I made it hear with time to spare. There were many people I didnt get to formally say goodbye to. I am sorry. I will try to document my 33 hour Travel to Africa as well as I can. I will also try to be short and sweet with my Blogs (despite what Kathy Ransbury told me) because I am sure you dont want to hear my ramble.

I will also be posting Pictures on my Photobucket. Click here to check it out. Bookmark it.(Sorry mom... I know you dont know how to do that :) Not any pictures yet. But there will be... give me time Alissa!!!

This is it. Here I go. My Chains Are Gone... For now.

I LOVE EVERYONE OF YOU!!!

2 WEEKS AND COUNTING!!!

Ok so I've been gettin a lot of you Peeps complaining that I'm not updating this enough.... I"M NOT EVEN GONE YET!!! In the words of the great Theologian Nelson Pierre-Paul "Chillax"

Well like I said I am 2 weeks away from leaving. I have been getting rid of a lot of my stuff. I don't want to come back to a bunch of junk. So I am taking this time to do some spring cleaning. I took 3 trash bags of clothes to the thrift store the other day and 3 more bags today. (Sorry mom I had to let go of a couple of your cheesy "I Love Jesus" shirts. It feels good. We don't realize how much stuff we have that we dont use. I am writing you from Cafe Primo on Monday May 19th at 6:30. This is my second to last day working hear. Kinda Sad. I really enjoy the Espresso Machine.

So someone came up to me today and said "Sometimes being a Christian is pretty hard huh?" And I started thinking. The Way of Christ is only hard because we don't "GET" it. If we truly understood how much He loves us, How much He would do for us, How much would give for us, Or how bout how much HE ACTUALLY GAVE for us, then it wouldn't be that hard. But It is hard.

I am taking this last two weeks to get close to God. I will be making sacrifices. Some you might notice, some you wont. Pray for me please. I need God to prepare my heart for the Journey ahead.

Well that's all for now. I might post a couple more times before I leave (June 1st), I might not.

Remember that I am doing a concert at the CTK Fellowship Hall the night before I leave. Just mostly to say goodbye. Try to make it. It should be kinda cool.
